Why do the kids on this show like to have awkward to much detail conversations with their parents about sex? 

So I have been watching Fabulous Cakes on TLC pretty much all day today and I think WHY am I doing this? But seriously some no all of these cakes are so awesome!

So I sit and watch and really want to make a super awesome cake. Maybe if I watch long enough I’ll be able to do it.

So tonight I was really bored so a friend, her boyfriend, and I went to see the movie Prom. Now all of us are out of high school just as information. We graduated 2 years ago so it was in resentish memory. But we decided it could be a good laugh, which it was. And to state at the beginning of this post I did like the movie.

I thought this movie was super funny. Every time there was a serious discussion about Prom being the best night of their life, or their relationship lasting forever, or how the world is going to end because the decorations weren’t totally right I started to laugh hysterically. I thought those dramatic conversations were totally unrealistic.

The only person who had a good idea of what high school really was like was Jesse Richter, the bad boy, who thinks Prom is a waste of time.

The only thing I remember from my Prom was it was awkward and not that fun.

I went with a guy who was a good friend but it was a pure pity date.

I was taller than my date

I was 17 he just turned 16 but he didn’t have his license yet but he wanted to pick me up so his mom drove us to our friends house.

Everyone was running an hour late.

There were 5 girls and 2 guys in our group.

I didn’t get any good pictures.

The music was terrible.

The DJ played one slow song the whole night.

My date was tired so I took him home at 12:30 and didn’t do anything after.

It was not a magical night like all high school movies make prom out to seem but I liked this movie if you have been to a Prom like mine because you can laugh at these girls who think it will be the best night of their life.

So only see this movie if you have been to Prom because it is a good funny movie if you have and if you haven’t gone to Prom yet than make sure you realize that this is the expectation but the reality is dressing up in nice clothes does not change who you are or who everyone else is.

This is pretty much what I feel like doing right now.
